I am currently working on many different music videos. Some to original parody songs, others just to songs I like. The one I'm most excited to begin working on within the next few weeks is a Ke$ha parody.
Ke$ha is most definitely one of my favorite music artists on the scene right now. She is very unique and different without feeling too fake about it, unlike Lady Gaga. Yes, I will admit that sometimes she over-does the "I'm a party girl" thing. And yes, most of it is probably just an act. But I do feel that she is pretty much herself. And if she isn't...well I buy her act more than I buy Lady Gaga's "I'm weird, I'm a freak!" act.
One thing I love about Ke$ha is that she doesn't take herself too seriously. Her music video to "Blow" is hysterical. It's definitely one of my favorite music videos by her. Also, her music video to "Animal" is kind of amazing. And then she has beautiful songs like "Dancing with Tears in my Eyes" and "Disgusting" (which was actually sold to Miranda Cosgrove because Ke$ha's "people" didn't think it was right for her, I believe.)
I honestly love Ke$ha. I really do. And my parody was 100% inspired by her. Every costume and all the locations were inspired by Ke$ha. And I'd absolutely love it if she sees my video once it comes out.
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy my parodies and other music videos when they come out. And Ke$ha, I hope you not only like this blog post (if you read it) but also like my parody (if you watch it.) The parody is about science, btw. Not you. <3

Crappy day
So I thought I'd give you a little update. Yes, you...meaning the 4 followers of this blog.
I originally was going to write about how horrible my day was. But now I'm going to write about how wonderful all of you are!
I made a video talking about my day and you all immediately responded was such amazing things. I can't believe how lucky I am to have people like you in my life!
So, that's pretty much it. Here's the video if you want it:

VidCon!
I'm soooo excited and lucky to be able to go to VidCon this year. I remember months and months ago, way before the Buffy video, I looked at the VidCon site and told my mom I thought it would be cool to go. She said that it wasn't gonna happen. I wasn't surprised. I didn't think she would say yes. So I forgot about it.
Let's jump ahead to April. I auditioned for the Buffy video and got it. Then filmed it and all that stuff, but at the time my mom didn't really understand what it was. I guess I didn't either. I should probably clarify that we knew what the project was. We knew it was going on Youtube. That it was a music video. But we didn't understand what it meant to be a Youtuber.
At the time, I was doing my Youtube videos every once in a while, with little-to-no views. I didn't really care. I liked making them. But after the Buffy video came out, everything changed. Suddenly I understood that being a Youtuber wasn't just a past time. For some people, it's their life. I realized you could make a living off of being a Youtuber.
That was the point my mom realized the value in it too. And somehow, I don't even remember how, VidCon resurfaced in our thoughts. I told my mom I was entering a contest to win two tickets to VidCon. I thought it was going to be a big contest with lots of people and that I wouldn't have a chance of winning. So I tried to make the best video possible. I wrote a song and made a music video for it. I submitted it and to my surprise there were only two other contestants. And their videos were really boring. I knew I would win.
But I guess it wasn't my fate to win those tickets, because to my horror and embarrassment I realized...I had missed the deadline. Completely missed the deadline. I don't understand how exactly it happened, but I realized I hadn't even started my entry before it hit the deadline.
Now, I'd like to think that it was partly the people running the contest's fault. That they worded it wrong. And they did. But I know it was also my fault. There's no escaping it. But it didn't matter because back when I thought there were a lot of people in the contest, I made my mom promise that she would buy me at least one ticket in case I didn't win. I told her I really wanted to go and if I did win, we would just have 3 tickets. And she agreed. (Once again, because she had realized the value of Youtube.)
But of course, nothing goes perfectly. When I found out I couldn't enter the contest, I asked my mom to buy another ticket. But they were sold out. In fact, I had gotten one of the last tickets. I know what you're thinking, what's the big deal? Well, it's not that big of deal. I knew how lucky I was to have a ticket and I would just have to go alone. But I was terrified. I didn't know anyone else my age who was going. And I can be terribly shy. I didn't know what to do.
But now as we approach VidCon, everything is turning out okay. My mom signed up to be a volunteer, so now I won't be alone. And I still can't believe I'm actually going. We leave this Wednesday. Speaking of which, I need to pack. So I'll talk to you guys later. :)

New Youtube Account
I just remembered that I haven't told you about my new Youtube account! It's ZoeMcLane521. This is where I'm going to be posting all my vlogs and parodies and all kinds of other stuff. I've been having so much fun talking to all my new subscribers and I'm very excited to be going to VidCon this year! I didn't realize when I first started making videos that Youtube is like it's own little community. And I'm very happy to be a part of that community.
Anyways, I'm really excited to be able to go to VidCon and meet lots of other Youtubers. It's gonna be amazing. And I'm also going to the VidCon Pre-party at K1 Speed. So hopefully that will be fun.
So yeah...that's pretty much it. I know I literally just posted a blog, but I just wanted you guys to know about my new channel.
Have a happy 4th of July!

I'm still here
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in FOREVER. I've been doing so much lately. I've been doing some acting work and getting more into Youtube. I've gained a bunch of subscribers so I'm trying to make a lot more videos. Not feeling very inspired to write right now, though. But that's okay, at least it's better than not posting at all, like before.
So anyways, I'm still here. And I will hopefully start posting more. :)

My first post.
Hey people of the Internet! I'm Zoe and this is my very first blog! I've never done one before so give me some credit if I don't do something right. I have, however, done many video blogs which you can find on YouTube! My channel, by the way, is theZandCshowrox and Bubblepop4464. The channel I usually post my vlogs on is theZandCshowrox. I also post most of my short films and web show episodes on that channel. On my other account, Bubblepop4464, I usually post performances and acting work I have done. But I have posted other things, random things, on that channel too. So it varies.
Now, since this is my first blog, I will tell you a little about myself. Well, I'm an actress, I've been acting since age 7 and I have been going to L.A. since I was 12. I'm 14. I have been in a commercial, a short film, and have done many plays and musicals. Including the world premier of "Carl Sagan's CONTACT." I love performing and singing. I also love animals and I am an activist for animals, the planet, and Gay Rights (although I'm not Gay.)
I think that's all you need to know right now. The rest you will probably figure out from my posts. I'm not sure how much or what I will post about. But I can for sure answer any questions you might have about the business or anything else. And I'll try to talk about all the cool stuff I'm doing in L.A. But if I don't get a lot of chances to write, then you can always go to my YouTube channel and watch one of my web shows called "The Adventures of Zoe!" then you can see all the stuff I'm doing in L.A.!
Anyways, thanks for reading guys! And you can send me any questions you have at my email: thezandcshow@gmail.com! I'll see you guys later!
